Hi, I'm Lori!

I started photography in 2014 during a research project at university. I taught myself the basics whilst living in Italy for a few months interviewing residents of Barga and their connections to the West of Scotland. I used this time taking photographs of the town, its history and surrounding cities to document my time there. The photographs ended up becoming the main part of my project alongside interview excerpts. In 2015 it resulted in three solo exhibitions, one in Barga, Italy, where the mayor officially opened the doors, one in Paisley and one in Glasgow, Scotland.

Now on it's 10 year anniversary, a condensed version of the project is currently being showcased in Paisley (see exhibitions page for details)
